DO THE ZEN FOR ONESELF

Please enter the gate, and go straight to the main temple. Please offer one incense stick to the censer in the front. I will sit straight in front of the principal image. Please look at 90 centimeters ahead and turn down your gaze (or close your eyes), and relax your mind. Before you begin to breath, you must straighten your back. Are you ready? ...OK.

When you begin to breath, please count with "A" (and say "A" in your mind). The point is to vomit a lot of breaths from the nose. And next, please inhale breath promptly, and count with "B". And, you must continue with C, D, and E like this. If you count up to "G", please return to "A". You repeatedly count "G" from "A" like this. This is said, "Susokukan".
*Please do not increase the number after "G", like "H" or "I", and please do not stop counting in your mind.
